TradeStation The Miami Bull

The Bitcoin Convention in Miami has officially started and the Mayor of Miami has unveiled the Miami Bull Statue I worked on at Onyx Forge Studios. I had the pleasure of being the Lead Digital Artist in charge of sculpting and 3d printing this 16 foot long Bull that represents an updated version of the Wall Street Bull. Concept design of the Bull was by Furio Tedeschi.

In order to meet the deadline on the digital end, I divided the large parts of the Bull between myself and 2 other digital artists to start modeling it to completion. I had the Bull posed and scaled before assigning all the parts and started working on the head. As my team mates got their end of the modeling done, I started prepping and shipping out parts to start 3d printing while taking care of other logistics such as cutting for different sizes, final dimensions, renderings, internal structures and much more. This meant that large parts such as the head and body had to be tackled between all 3 of us.

The eyes and lights were probably one of the few parts I had the opportunity to sculpt from start to finish. This project definitely needed to be time managed on my part to meet the deadline more then anything and I'm happy that my team completely had my back.
