Bill and Ted 3: Face the Music- Dennis McCoy Robot Suit

While I was working on Lilith for Blizzcon 2019, I was also tasked to work on the Dennis McCoy Robot Suit simultaneously at Steve Wang's Onyx Forge Studios.

The Robot Suit was mixed media with traditional sculpting and digital sculpting and 3D Printing. I prepped and 3D printed all of his hard surface parts. The lit parts on his head, shoulders, chest, and thighs were prepped with the intention that the top cover would be used for vacu-forming. All of these parts were separated into 3 pieces- A bottom lid, the middle electronics piece and the top cover. The hard surface parts on his gloves were specifically made to be able to move properly on his gloves. Lastly I made and prepped the small gun lens for the traditional sculptors to add into the gun sculpture.

I also had the chance to help the fabrication team with pattern making, lining and sewing!
